Asian indices closed lower, except India’s Nifty 50 and Thailand’ SET index which closed in the green. US index futures traded mixed, indicating a cautious start to the trading session. The Federal Reserve will begin its two-day policy meeting later today, and investors will be looking for clues over the timing and number of rate cuts to expect this year.
