Nifty 50 opens higher after rising around 42 points in the pre-opening session. On Wednesday, Indian indices closed higher after President Trump brokered a ceasefire between Iran and Israel. FIIs sold equity worth Rs 2,427.7 crore, while DIIs bought equity worth Rs 2,373 crore in Indian markets on the same day.
Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 open higher, tracking the benchmark index. Nifty Energy and Nifty Metal indices open higher.
Major US indices closed mixed on Wednesday. European indices closed in the red, except for Russia’s RTSI and MOEX, which closed in the green. Asian indices are trading mixed. Meanwhile, QXO shares fell 7.2% after it priced its $2 billion stock offering at $22.25, about 5% below Tuesday’s close.
