Sunil Singhania has added industrial machinery manufacturer Shriram Pistons & Rings to his portfolio in Q3FY24.
Singhania adds one company while cutting stake in another to below 1%
With the new filings, Singhania currently holds 28 stocks and has a net worth of Rs 2,958.5 crore. The ace investor bought a 2.3% stake in mid-cap company Shriram Pistons & Rings during Q3FY24. Its stock price has risen by 161.9% in the past year, outperforming its industry by 58.4% points.
Shriram Pistons & Rings ranks high on Trendlyne’s checklist, scoring 81.8%. It has high financial strength, with a Durability score of 80, but an affordable valuation, scoring 54. The firm also has moderately bullish momentum with a score of 64 and a PE ratio of 18.2, which is below the industry median, placing it in the PE sell zone.
New additions to portfolios by other superstars
Dolly Khanna, with a net worth of Rs 513.6 crore, added two new stocks to her portfolio during Q3FY24. She bought a fresh 1.2% stake each in Zuari Industries (a sugar company) and Savera Industries (a hotels company). Over the past year, Zuari Industries and Savera Industries have risen by 93.2% and 102.4%, respectively.
Recent stake changes by superstars
Singhania cut his stake in Rajshree Polypack (a packaging company) to below 1% during the quarter. Since adding the stock to his portfolio in Q2FY19, its price has risen by 96.6% till the end of Q3FY24. He also reduced his holding in capital markets company IIFL Securities to 3.3%.
Ashish Kacholia, who holds 48 stocks with a net worth of Rs 3,079.4 crore, bought a 0.5% stake in Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services. He currently holds a 2.2% stake in the IT software and services company.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s portfolio, currently handled by Rare Enterprises and his wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala, bought an additional 1% stake in D B Realty. The portfolio now holds a 3% stake in the realty company. The portfolio’s net worth stands at Rs 49,503.6 crore.
Dolly Khanna sold a 0.4% stake in Simran Farms, retaining a 1% stake in the packaged foods company.
Nemish Shah publicly holds six stocks with a net worth of over Rs 2,372.1 crore. He sold a 1.4% stake in Asahi India Glass and currently holds a 4.6% stake in the auto parts manufacturer.
