Its Revenue/EBIDTA/PAT grew -1.3%/24%/24% YoY, but declined 3.4%/3.2%/-0.6% QoQ to Rs 17.4bn/2.6bn/1.56bn (our estimate of Rs 17.6bn/2.5bn/1.5bn) respectively. Company's EBIDTA margins rose 302 bps YoY and flat QoQ to 14.8%, as against our est of 14.4%, due to lower RM cost amid low lead prices.

Exides 1QFY16 Adj PAT at Rs 1.55bn (-16% YoY, 13% QoQ) missed consensus estimates by 15%. Sharp drop in inverter sales, lower realisations in the OEM segment and absence of lower lead cost benefits led to a miss at the topline and operating level. While Industrial and Auto OEM segments witnessed flat to negative growth, replacement volumes across the 2W/4W segments registered strong growth.

Its Revenue/EBIDTA/PAT declined 6%/8%/16% YoY, but grew 9%/12%/13% QoQ (due to seasonality) to Rs 18bn/2.66bn/1.55bn (our estimate of Rs 19.1bn/2.7bn/1.6bn) respectively.
