Markets close higher, ICICI Prudential decreases stake in Hindalco

Market breadth is in the red. Of the 1707 stocks traded today, 763 were in the positive territory and 872 were negative.

  • ICICI Securities' top pick in the oil & gas sector is Gujarat Gas with a 'Buy' rating, and Petronet LNG, Mahanagar Gas, Indraprastha Gas, Indian Oil Corp., and GAIL receive an 'Add' rating.

  • Adani Green Energy, APL Apollo Tubes, Sanofi India, and Atul are trading with rising delivery volume compared to the previous day.
