DCB Bank reported 10.5% yoy and 68.9% qoq increase in PAT at Rs695mn, driven by lower effective tax rate (0.3% 4QFY16 v/s 34.9% in 3QFY16) along with higher operating income (30.8% yoy and 10.8% qoq growth). Overall, business growth improved during 4Q as credit grew 23.5% yoy / 10.1% qoq and deposits moved up 18.4% yoy and 6% qoq. NIM remain stable at 3.94% in 4Q v/s 3.96% in 3QFY16 led by decline in CoF. Strong business growth along with healthy NIM resulted into 30.1% yoy and 5.1% qoq growth in NII to Rs1.7bn.
