Ashish Kacholia adds three new companies to his portfolio in Q2FY25

Ashish Kacholia has added three new companies to his portfolio so far during the September quarter, a shift from his cautious selling in the previous quarter. He bought a 2.7% stake in Advait Infrastructure, an electrical equipment company, 2.5% stake in construction firm Jyoti Structure, and a 1.1% stake in software & services company E2E Networks.

Kacholia makes multiple portfolio changes in Q2FY25

With these new changes, Kacholia publicly holds 41 stocks with a net worth of over Rs 2,833 crore.  Advait Infrastructure ranks high on Trendlyne’s Checklist, scoring 56.5%. Over the past year, the company’s share price has increased by 336.3%.  Meanwhile, Jyoti Structures has risen by 138.8%% in the past year, E2E Networks has surged by 638.9%. 

Besides the addition of these three companies to his portfolio, most changes to Kacholia’s portfolio in Q2 so far are stake sales. 

The ace investor cut his stake in plastic products company Shaily Engineering Plastics by 3.2%, now holding 5.8%. This is just one among the many stake sales made by Kacholia in the September quarter. During the quarter, he adjusted his holdings in key sectors to below 1%.

The marquee investor sold his stake in packaging company Garware Hi-Tech Films from 2.9% to below 1% in Q2FY25. The company is in the Trendlyne PE Sell Zone, indicating that it is currently trading above its historical PE. 

He also cut his stake from 2.4% to below 1% in Repro India. Over the past year, the commercial services company’s share price has fallen by 21.9%, underperforming its industry by 23.8 percentage points. Kacholia has reduced his stake in the company for the third consecutive quarter.

Kacholia decreased his stake in Genesys International and Aditya Vision to below 1%, down from 1.3% and 1.6% in Q1FY25, respectively. He also reduced stakes in Fineotex Chemical, Awfis Space Solutions, Carysil, Balu Forge Industries, Updater Services, PCBL, Safari Industries, Brand Concepts, Ami Organics, and NIIT Learning Systems during Q2FY25. Meanwhile, Kacholia bought a minor stake in Aeroflex Industries during the quarter.
