India Cements announced Q1FY24 results: Cement sales for Q1FY24 were only 26.57 lakh tons as compared to 27.85 lakh tons in Q4FY23. Sales realization was lower by 5% as compared to Q1FY23 at around Rs 268 per ton. EBIDTA was lower at Rs 12 crore for Q1FY24 as compared to an EBIDTA of Rs 39 crore in Q1FY23. Interest and other charges were at Rs 58 crore (Rs 59 crore) while depreciation was at Rs 53 crore as compared to Rs 52 crore in Q1FY23. Resultant loss before tax was Rs 99 crore in Q1FY24 as compared to a loss of Rs 72 crore in Q1FY23. Result PDF
