IT Consulting & Software company Cyient announced Q1FY27 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Total Income for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 20,826 million, reflecting a YoY growth of 16.90% from Rs 17,815 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ increase of 6.61% from Rs 19,535 million in Q4FY26. Revenue from contracts with customers reached Rs 20,757 million in Q1FY27, representing a YoY increase of 21.26% compared to Rs 17,118 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ increase of 7.72% against Rs 19,269 million in Q4FY26. Profit before tax for Q1FY27 was Rs 1,711 million, showing a YoY decline of 19.90% from Rs 2,136 million in Q1FY26, but a significant QoQ growth of 80.11% from Rs 950 million in Q4FY26. Net Profit for the period in Q1FY27 was Rs 1,087 million, marking a YoY decrease of 30.94% from Rs 1,574 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ increase of 65.95% from Rs 655 million in Q4FY26. Revenue from operations in Q1FY27 was Rs 6,796 million, showing a YoY increase of 23.90% from Rs 5,485 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ increase of 9.93% from Rs 6,182 million in Q4FY26. Profit before tax for Q1FY27 was Rs 1,911 million, up 18.70% YoY from Rs 1,610 million in Q1FY26 and up 275.44% QoQ from Rs 509 million in Q4FY26. Net Profit for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 1,437 million, reflecting a YoY growth of 21.06% from Rs 1,187 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ increase of 276.18% from Rs 382 million in Q4FY26. Business Highlights: Segment Performance: Digital, Engineering & Technology (DET): Revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 15,402 million compared to Rs 13,925 million in Q1FY26. Design Led Manufacturing (DLM): Revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 3,738 million compared to Rs 2,784 million in Q1FY26. Semiconductors: Revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 1,697 million compared to Rs 472 million in Q1FY26. Acquisition of Kinetic Technologies: On April 8, 2026, the company acquired an 82.9% majority stake in Kinetic Technologies for a total consideration of Rs 7,910 million (USD 85 million). Kinetic Technologies contributed Rs 984 million to revenue and Rs 177 million to loss before tax in Q1FY27. Acquisition of TAO Digital Solutions Inc.: On May 30, 2026, the company entered into an agreement to acquire a 100% stake in TAO Digital Solutions Inc. for approximately USD 218 million. This transaction had no impact on the Q1FY27 results as it was subject to closing conditions. Share Buyback: The Board approved a buyback of up to 64,00,000 equity shares at Rs 1,125 per share, totaling Rs 7,200 million.
