Adani FPO fully subscribed after non-retail investors bid in big volumes

The Rs 20,000 crore share sale of Adani group's flagship firm was fully subscribed on Tuesday after non-retail investors bid in big volumes, according to stock exchange data. As many as 4.62 crore shares were sought as against an offer of 4.55 crore. Non-institutional investors put in bids for over three times the 96.16 lakh shares reserved for them, while the 1.28 crore shares reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was almost fully subscribed, according to BSE data. There was, however, muted response from retail investors and company employees. Retail investors, for whom roughly half of the issue was reserved, bid for just 11 per cent of the 2.29 crore shares earmarked for them. Employees sought 52 per cent of the 1.6 lakh shares reserved for them.

infrastructure investment trust IndiGrid Q3 profit up 27% to Rs 120 crore

India Grid Trust (IndiGrid) has posted 27 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 119.78 crore for December quarter 2022-23. The infrastructure investment trust logged a net profit of Rs 94.38 crore in the year-ago period, as per a BSE filing. Total income also increased to Rs 607.06 crore in the quarter from Rs 580.96 crore in the same period a year ago. Board of Directors of IndiGrid Investment Managers Limited (IIML), acting in the capacity of investment manager to IndiGrid, on Wednesday approved distribution of Rs 3.30 per unit comprising Rs 2.8042 per unit in the form of interest and Rs 0.4958 per unit in the form of principal payment for the quarter. The record date for this distribution will be January 31, 2023, and payment will be made on or before February 9, 2023. CG Power and Industrial Solutions Q3 profit falls 58% to Rs 228 crore

CG Power and Industrial Solutions on Tuesday said its consolidated net profit declined 58 per cent to Rs 227.86 crore in December quarter 2022-23. The company's net profit in the year-ago period was Rs 545.06 crore, according to a BSE filing. Total income rose to Rs 1,809.95 crore in the quarter from Rs 1,558.89 crore in the same period a year ago. Total expenses also increased to Rs 1,528.22 crore from Rs 1,385 crore in the same period of 2021-22. The company's board has also approved a proposal to expand the manufacturing capacity of power transformer and distribution transformer units of the company at its plants in Malanpur and Bhopal at an investment of Rs 126 crore. The proposed expansion would increase the capacity from 17,000 MVA to 25,000 MVA for power transformers and from 6,900 MVA to 9,900 MVA for distribution transformers.
