Iron & Steel Products company Jindal Stainless announced Q1FY27 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: For Q1FY27, the revenue stood at Rs 11,278.54 crore, representing a YoY growth of 10.50% from Rs 10,207.14 crore in Q1FY26 and a marginal QoQ decline of 0.52% from Rs 11,337.19 crore in Q4FY26. Total Income: The total income for Q1FY27 was Rs 11,396.93 crore, a YoY increase of 10.91% compared to Rs 10,276.01 crore in Q1FY26 and a slight QoQ decline from Rs 11,427.91 crore in Q4FY26. Profit Before Tax (PBT): For Q1FY27, PBT was reported at Rs 1,033.59 crore, reflecting a YoY growth of 6.66% against Rs 969.05 crore in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decline of 7.08% from Rs 1,112.32 crore in Q4FY26. Net Profit for the Period: The consolidated net profit stood at Rs 768.66 crore in Q1FY27, showcasing a YoY increase of 7.56% from Rs 714.66 crore in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decline of 7.86% from Rs 834.21 crore in Q4FY26. Earnings Per Share (EPS): The Basic EPS for Q1FY27 was reported at Rs 9.34, compared to Rs 8.67 in Q1FY26 and Rs 10.24 in Q4FY26. Standalone Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: Standalone revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 10,676.55 crore, a YoY growth of 3.25% from Rs 10,340.51 crore in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decrease of 1.38% from Rs 10,826.47 crore in Q4FY26. Total Income: For Q1FY27, the standalone total income reached Rs 10,800.43 crore, compared to Rs 10,443.89 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 10,950.66 crore in Q4FY26. Net Profit: The standalone profit for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 605.89 crore, reflecting a YoY decline of 5.57% from Rs 641.64 crore in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decline of 32.04% from Rs 891.57 crore in Q4FY26. Standalone EPS: The Basic EPS was Rs 7.35 for Q1FY27, vs Rs 7.79 in Q1FY26 and Rs 10.82 in Q4FY26. Business Highlights: Renewable Energy Investment: During Q1FY27, the company invested Rs 23.41 crore in Oyster Green Hybrid One Private Limited to develop a 282 MW hybrid renewable energy project, completing its committed investment of Rs 132 crore. Employee Stock Options: In Q1FY27, the Nomination and Remuneration Committee granted 380,430 options and 39,608 options in two tranches. Additionally, the ESOP Trust transferred 166,060 equity shares to eligible employees upon exercise. Debt Status: As of 30 June 2026, the company had 990 outstanding Listed, Secured, Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) aggregating to Rs 99 crore, due for redemption on 28 September 2026. Subsidiary Liquidation: The voluntary liquidation process for PT Jindal Stainless Indonesia is ongoing, and the management remains confident in recovering the carrying value of its net assets.
