Iron & Steel Products company M & B Engineering announced Q1FY27 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Total Revenue from Operations: The consolidated revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 29,109.92 lakh, marking a growth of 22.49% compared to Rs 23,765.23 lakh in Q1FY26 (YoY). However, it saw a decline of 19.96% compared to Rs 36,370.67 lakh in Q4FY26 (QoQ). Total Income: The company reported a total income of Rs 29,618.04 lakh in Q1FY27, up 22.46% from Rs 24,185.78 lakh in Q1FY26 (YoY) and down 19.73% from Rs 36,899.70 lakh in Q4FY26 (QoQ). Net Profit After Tax: Profit for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 2,190.15 lakh, reflecting a YoY increase of 22.03% from Rs 1,794.78 lakh. On a QoQ basis, it decreased by 18.89% from Rs 2,700.07 lakh in Q4FY26. Total Comprehensive Income: The total comprehensive income for the period was Rs 2,144.70 lakh in Q1FY27, growing 16.92% YoY from Rs 1,834.38 lakh but declining 21.62% QoQ from Rs 2,736.18 lakh. Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 3.75, compared to Rs 3.59 in Q1FY26 and Rs 4.76 in Q4FY26. Standalone Financial Highlights: Total Revenue from Operations: Standalone revenue reached Rs 26,470.06 lakh in Q1FY27, an increase of 15.93% from Rs 22,832.91 lakh in Q1FY26 (YoY), while decreasing by 15.78% from Rs 31,431.08 lakh in Q4FY26 (QoQ). Total Income: Total standalone income for Q1FY27 was Rs 27,004.57 lakh, showing a growth of 16.09% YoY from Rs 23,260.82 lakh and a decline of 15.56% QoQ from Rs 31,981.94 lakh. Net Profit After Tax: Standalone PAT for Q1FY27 was Rs 1,464.31 lakh, representing a 4.03% YoY decrease from Rs 1,525.82 lakh and a 24.06% QoQ decrease from Rs 1,928.33 lakh. Total Comprehensive Income: For Q1FY27, total comprehensive income was Rs 1,422.75 lakh, compared to Rs 1,566.59 lakh in Q1FY26 and Rs 1,963.77 lakh in Q4FY26. Earnings Per Share (EPS): Standalone basic and diluted EPS was Rs 2.49 for Q1FY27, compared to Rs 3.05 in Q1FY26 and Rs 3.36 in Q4FY26. Business Highlights: Segment Performance: Phenix Division (PEB & Structural Steel): Contributed Rs 21,400 lakh (74% of total revenue) with a YoY growth of 22%. Proflex Division (Self-supported Roofing): Contributed Rs 7,700 lakh (26% of total revenue) with a YoY growth of 25%. Order Book: Total orders on hand reached Rs 1,05,300 lakh as of Q1FY27, reflecting a 25% YoY growth. The Phenix division accounts for Rs 83,700 lakh (79.5%) and the Proflex division accounts for Rs 21,600 lakh (20.5%) of the total orders. Export Performance: Export revenue stood at Rs 2,800 lakh for Q1FY27, accounting for 10% of total revenue. Export orders within the Phenix division were recorded at Rs 27,800 lakh. Capacity Expansion: The Board approved a brownfield expansion project for heavy structural steel at the Sanand plant, adding 10,000 MTPA to the existing 12,000 MTPA capacity. A Rs 3,000 lakh investment was also approved for a fully automated Heavy Structural Steel processing line at Sanand, expected to be operative by Q1FY28. Equity Allotment: The Board approved the allotment of 12,503 equity shares of face value Rs 10/- each under the 'M&B; Engineering Limited Employee Stock Option Plan 2024' (ESOP 2024). Operational Milestones: With the addition of two new mobile manufacturing units, the Proflex installed capacity has increased to 21 lakh square meters per annum. The Cheyyar plant recently received AISC certification, enabling service to the west coast of the United States.
