IT Consulting & Software company Persistent Systems announced Q1FY27 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Revenue from operations for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 43,032.27 million, representing a YoY increase of 29.09% from Rs 33,335.87 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ increase of 6.10% from Rs 40,559.37 million in Q4FY26. Total income in Q1FY27 reached Rs 43,738.63 million, marking a growth of 29.09% YoY compared to Rs 33,882.49 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ growth of 6.95% from Rs 40,894.29 million in Q4FY26. Profit before tax for Q1FY27 was Rs 6,231.01 million, reflecting a YoY growth of 12.19% from Rs 5,554.07 million in Q1FY26, while recording a QoQ decrease of 7.55% from Rs 6,739.81 million in Q4FY26. Profit for the quarter in Q1FY27 was Rs 4,830.43 million, showing a YoY growth of 13.67% from Rs 4,249.36 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decrease of 8.73% compared to Rs 5,292.60 million in Q4FY26. Total comprehensive income for the quarter stood at Rs 5,861.97 million in Q1FY27, compared to Rs 4,482.49 million in Q1FY26 and Rs 5,044.39 million in Q4FY26. Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) for Q1FY27 was Rs 30.88, an increase from Rs 27.43 in Q1FY26 and a decrease from Rs 33.83 in Q4FY26. Standalone Financial Highlights: Revenue from operations for Q1FY27 was Rs 41,178.01 million, reflecting a YoY growth of 26.39% from Rs 32,580.84 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ growth of 4.03% from Rs 39,584.24 million in Q4FY26. Total income in Q1FY27 reached Rs 41,677.47 million, up by 26.15% YoY from Rs 33,037.10 million in Q1FY26 and up 3.67% QoQ from Rs 40,201.87 million in Q4FY26. Profit before tax for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 5,458.71 million, representing a YoY growth of 10.80% from Rs 4,926.72 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decline of 4.24% compared to Rs 5,700.70 million in Q4FY26. Profit for the quarter in Q1FY27 was Rs 4,020.24 million, showing a YoY increase of 9.46% from Rs 3,672.90 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decrease of 4.32% from Rs 4,201.59 million in Q4FY26. Total comprehensive income for Q1FY27 was Rs 4,933.25 million, compared to Rs 3,829.22 million in Q1FY26 and Rs 3,280.75 million in Q4FY26. Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 25.70, compared to Rs 23.71 in Q1FY26 and Rs 26.86 in Q4FY26. Business Highlights: The Board approved the proposed acquisition of up to 100% of the outstanding share capital of Nagarro SE, a global digital engineering and IT consulting company, at a price of EUR 81 per share. The company entered into a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire an initial 21% shareholding of Nagarro SE through its subsidiary, BidCo. The Board approved the issuance of a Corporate Guarantee up to EUR 1,540 million to secure a bridge financing facility of EUR 1,400 million from Barclays Bank PLC for the Nagarro SE acquisition. Persistent Systems Ireland Operations Limited established a new subsidiary in Estonia and acquired part of the business of Concise Systems OÜ on July 1, 2026. The Board approved the proposal for the merger of MediaAgility India Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, into Persistent Systems Limited. The merger of Arrka Infosec Private Limited with the parent company became effective on May 12, 2026, and has been restated in the financial results from April 1, 2025. Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) segment revenue in Q1FY27 was Rs 14,630.86 million, marking a YoY growth of 29.46% and a QoQ growth of 4.78%. Healthcare & Life Sciences segment revenue reached Rs 10,910.51 million in Q1FY27, representing a YoY increase of 29.47% and a QoQ increase of 2.32%. Software, Hi-Tech and Emerging Industries segment revenue stood at Rs 17,490.90 million in Q1FY27, showing a YoY growth of 28.54% and a QoQ growth of 9.77%.
