IT Consulting & Software company Newgen Software Technologies announced Q1FY27 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: The company recorded revenue from operations of Rs 35,668.37 lakh in Q1FY27, reflecting a YoY increase of 11.23% from Rs 32,065.63 lakh in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decrease of 21.20% from Rs 45,266.83 lakh in Q4FY26. Total Income: Total income for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 39,295.64 lakh, growing by 12.26% YoY from Rs 35,004.34 lakh in Q1FY26 and declining by 14.02% QoQ from Rs 45,701.70 lakh in Q4FY26. Profit Before Exceptional Items and Tax: Profit for Q1FY27 reached Rs 8,211.56 lakh, representing a YoY growth of 28.09% compared to Rs 6,410.68 lakh in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decline of 43.80% compared to Rs 14,612.43 lakh in Q4FY26. Net Profit: The company reported a net profit of Rs 6,282.11 lakh in Q1FY27, showing an increase of 26.35% YoY from Rs 4,972.06 lakh in Q1FY26 and a decrease of 40.90% QoQ from Rs 10,629.83 lakh in Q4FY26. Earnings per Share (EPS): Basic EPS for Q1FY27 was Rs 4.44, compared to Rs 3.55 in Q1FY26 and Rs 7.56 in Q4FY26. Standalone Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: Standalone revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 30,435.71 lakh, an increase of 8.48% YoY from Rs 28,057.16 lakh in Q1FY26 and a decrease of 27.18% QoQ from Rs 41,795.87 lakh in Q4FY26. Total Income: Standalone total income stood at Rs 34,412.36 lakh in Q1FY27, up by 9.12% YoY from Rs 31,538.38 lakh and down by 17.96% QoQ from Rs 41,946.42 lakh. Net Profit: Standalone net profit for Q1FY27 was Rs 5,977.46 lakh, representing a YoY growth of 22.75% from Rs 4,869.44 lakh and a QoQ decline of 42.17% from Rs 10,336.92 lakh. Earnings per Share (EPS): Standalone basic EPS for Q1FY27 was Rs 4.23, compared to Rs 3.47 in Q1FY26 and Rs 7.35 in Q4FY26. Business Highlights: Segment-wise Performance: EMEA: This region remained the largest revenue contributor in Q1FY27 with a revenue of Rs 11,362.98 lakh and a segment profit before tax of Rs 2,153.53 lakh. India: Revenue from the India segment stood at Rs 9,561.13 lakh in Q1FY27, with a segment profit before tax of Rs 393.09 lakh. USA: The USA segment generated a revenue of Rs 9,150.95 lakh in Q1FY27, with a segment profit before tax of Rs 1,930.87 lakh. APAC: Revenue from the APAC segment was Rs 5,593.31 lakh in Q1FY27, and segment profit before tax stood at Rs 1,144.40 lakh. Business Updates: The Board of Directors recommended a dividend of Rs 6.00 per equity share for the financial year ended FY26, subject to approval from shareholders. Exceptional items recognized in FY26 included a net impact of Rs 3,005.76 lakh related to Labour Codes and a provision for a legal claim amounting to Rs 1,336.89 lakh.
