TAC rejects BJD govt's proposal to amend tribal land transfer rules

The newly constituted Tribal Advisory Council (TAC) rejected a proposal of the previous BJD government to amend the Odisha Scheduled Areas Transfer of Immovable Property Amendment Regulation for allowing tribals in scheduled areas to sell and mortgage their land to non-tribals. In the first meeting of the TAC chaired by chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday, it was resolved to explore an alternative mode to facilitate loans for tribal people for essential purposes such as marriage, higher education and business initiatives, an official statement issued by the CMO said. The previous BJD government's move to amend the regulation of Odisha Scheduled Areas Transfer of Immovable Property (By Scheduled Tribes) Amendment was strongly opposed by the people across the state, following which it was withdrawn by the government on January 29, 2024. TAC Security teams up with Google as MASA assessor for developers

TAC InfoSec adds 200 new clients across 32 countries in September

TAC InfoSec, a cybersecurity solutions provider, on Wednesday said it added 200 new customers, including Microsoft and Lenovo, across 32 countries in September. TAC InfoSec Limited (TAC Security) is a cybersecurity company specialising in vulnerability management. It is India's first publicly listed cybersecurity firm. Among company's new clients are Microsoft, Gen Digital, Brother Industries, Sedric, Yext, Freshworks, and Lenovo, the company said in a release. The company said its client base has now increased to 690 in the second quarter of the fiscal across 57 countries. TAC Infosec Q1 results: PAT up 94% at Rs 2.32 cr on rise in customer base

Cybersecurity vulnerability management firm TAC InfoSec on Tuesday reported a 94.45 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 2.32 crore in the June 2024 quarter, mainly due to an increase in customer base and ongoing global market expansion. TAC InfoSec (TAC Security) reported total revenue of Rs 5.14 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024-25, reflecting a year-on-year increase of nearly 94 per cent. TAC Security said it expanded its client base to 590. This growth is complemented by the company's expansion into 55 countries, up from 22 just one quarter ago, it said in a stock exchange filing. "In Q1 FY25, several high-profile global brands, including Salesforce, AutoDesk, Nissan Motors, and Xerox, subscribed to TAC Security products," it said.
