Paper & Paper Products company Andhra Paper announced Q1FY27 results Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: The company reported revenue from operations of Rs 39,377.13 lakh for Q1FY27, representing a marginal YoY growth of 0.09% compared to Rs 39,342.06 lakh in Q1FY26. On a QoQ basis, revenue decreased by 25.29% from Rs 52,704.77 lakh in Q4FY26. Total Income: Total income for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 41,542.62 lakh, a YoY decline of 1.24% from Rs 42,064.68 lakh in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decline of 23.71% from Rs 54,451.09 lakh in Q4FY26. Profit Before Tax (PBT): The company achieved a PBT of Rs 4,054.56 lakh in Q1FY27, reflecting a YoY increase of 39.00% from Rs 2,916.91 lakh in Q1FY26. It recorded a significant QoQ growth of 244.71% compared to Rs 1,176.23 lakh in Q4FY26. Net Profit After Tax: Net profit for Q1FY27 was reported at Rs 3,031.57 lakh, registering a YoY growth of 42.29% compared to Rs 2,130.54 lakh in Q1FY26. On a QoQ basis, the profit surged by 292.45% from Rs 772.47 lakh in Q4FY26. Total Comprehensive Income: For Q1FY27, total comprehensive income stood at Rs 3,586.80 lakh, showing a YoY growth of 28.68% from Rs 2,787.32 lakh in Q1FY26 and a significant QoQ increase from Rs 109.31 lakh in Q4FY26. Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS for Q1FY27 improved to Rs 1.52 from Rs 1.07 in Q1FY26 and Rs 0.39 in Q4FY26. Business Highlights: Operational Disruption at Kadiyam Unit: Operations were temporarily suspended from April 27, 2026, due to an illegal strike by contract workmen. The company declared a lockout on May 01, 2026, which was revoked on May 29, 2026. Recovery Status: Manufacturing operations partially resumed on July 15, 2026. As of the report date, the Kadiyam Unit is operating at approximately 93% of its normal capacity. Income Tax Search and Demands: Following a search in FY2023-24, the company received various tax demand orders. The outstanding demand aggregates to Rs 245.25 lakh for the Assessment Years 2013-14 to 2024-25 (excluding one year where the order is awaited).
