Non-electrical Utilities company Gujarat Gas announced Q2FY24 results: Revenue from Operations of Rs 3,991 crore for Q2FY24 compared to Rs 3,924 crore for Q2FY23. Standalone Profit After Tax (PAT) for Q2FY24 is Rs 298 crore, showing a significant increase of 38% compared to Rs 215 crore in Q2FY23. The company witnessed a 22% increase in sales volumes, reaching 9.32 mmscmd for Q2FY24, compared to 7.62 mmscmd for Q2FY23. For Q2FY24, Gujarat Gas recorded industrial sales volumes of 5.86 mmscmd, reflecting a growth of 31% compared to 4.47 mmscmd in Q2FY23. The company achieved an average CNG sales volume of 2.62 mmscmd for Q2FY24 marking a growth of 13% compared to Q2FY23. Gujarat Gas added approximately 53,000 new domestic customers, and 221 commercial customers, and commissioned 61 new industrial customers during the second quarter. As of September 30, 2023, the company has a signed volume of 5,42,000 scmd (standard cubic meters per day) yet to be commissioned. Gujarat Gas has undertaken major digitization initiatives across various business processes, including PNG & CNG services, LNG tanker operations, billing, collection, vendor invoice submission, and e-filing.
