Textiles company Arvind announced Q2FY24 results: Revenues for the quarter stood at Rs 1,922 crore, a growth of 4% on a QoQ basis. EBITDA during the period stands at Rs 206 crore which is a growth of 14% on a QoQ basis while Profit after Tax stood at Rs 79 crore. EBITDA margin of the overall business increased by 140 bps on a YoY basis to reach 10.7%. Advanced Materials delivered healthy revenues of Rs 354 crore and the highest ever EBITDA of Rs 55.6 crore for the quarter, translating into an EBIDTA margin of 15.7%. During the 1st half of the year, Arvind’s 46MW hybrid wind-solar project went live, which took Arvind’s total share of renewable energy consumption to 47% and helped reduce 110,000 tCo2 emissions per annum. This has further strengthened its industry-leading credentials in environmental sustainability.
