Rajiv Mittal, Chairman & Managing Director, VA TECH WABAG, said: "Crossing Rs 20,000 crore in order book for the first time ever is a defining milestone for WABAG, achieved alongside robust top-line growth and strong profit momentum. In H1 this year, we secured two landmark "Mega" orders, a "Mega" SWRO project that marks our entry into Kuwait, and a "Mega" deal with RIL for one of the largest desalination plants in India at Jamnagar. Together with our entry into the UAE through Ajman, expansion in Europe with Donauinsel Water Works, and key municipal orders from BWSSB and DJB, these wins showcase the trust our clients place in us for their most complex, technologyintensive projects, which will continue to be our focus area. Strong margins and better working capital management also helped us deliver our 15th backto-back quarter of positive net cash, which crossed Rs 1,100 crore excluding HAM, another a major milestone for WABAG. With Order Book at more than four times of our annual revenue and a healthy bid pipeline, we are well positioned for the years ahead. Rising water security needs and the push on treated water reuse & desalination both for municipal and industrial sectors, are strong tailwinds for the sector. We will stay selective, focusing on securing more "Large" and "Mega", technology-led projects, and deliver growth and margins in line with our strategic targets". Result PDF
