Hotels company EIH announced Q1FY27 results Standalone Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: The company reported revenue of Rs 599.80 crore in Q1FY27, reflecting a YoY growth of 15.62% compared to Rs 518.77 crore in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decrease of 25.84% from Rs 808.76 crore in Q4FY26. Total Income: Total income for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 658.00 crore, up 15.21% YoY from Rs 571.12 crore in Q1FY26, but down 23.47% QoQ from Rs 859.76 crore in Q4FY26. Profit Before Tax (PBT): The standalone PBT was Rs 169.72 crore in Q1FY27, representing a YoY increase of 245.52% over Rs 49.12 crore in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decline of 43.55% from Rs 300.66 crore in Q4FY26. Net Profit (PAT): Profit for the period reached Rs 127.09 crore in Q1FY27, showing a significant YoY increase of 249.53% from Rs 36.36 crore in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decrease of 36.51% from Rs 200.17 crore in Q4FY26. Total Comprehensive Income: The company recorded a total comprehensive income of Rs 126.88 crore in Q1FY27, compared to Rs 36.50 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 200.88 crore in Q4FY26. Consolidated Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: Consolidated revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 656.96 crore, showing a YoY growth of 14.54% over Rs 573.58 crore in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decline of 26.61% from Rs 895.22 crore in Q4FY26. Total Income: The consolidated total income reached Rs 697.94 crore in Q1FY27, up 14.59% YoY from Rs 609.06 crore in Q1FY26 and down 26.84% QoQ from Rs 953.95 crore in Q4FY26. Profit Before Tax (PBT): PBT for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 169.31 crore, reflecting a YoY growth of 212.50% from Rs 54.18 crore in Q1FY26, but a QoQ decrease of 54.03% from Rs 368.34 crore in Q4FY26. Net Profit (PAT): Consolidated net profit for Q1FY27 was Rs 120.31 crore, showing a YoY growth of 226.22% from Rs 36.88 crore in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decline of 51.70% from Rs 249.10 crore in Q4FY26. Total Comprehensive Income: This stood at Rs 119.27 crore in Q1FY27, compared to Rs 52.35 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 292.02 crore in Q4FY26. Business Highlights: Dividend Declaration: The Board of Directors, in their meeting held on May 26, 2026, proposed a final dividend of Rs 1.50 per share for FY26, subject to shareholder approval. Seasonality Note: The company stated that the financial results for the first quarter are not indicative of a full year's performance due to the seasonal nature of the Indian Hotel Industry. Mashobra Resort Limited (MRL) Update: Following a long-standing dispute and a Supreme Court order, the Wildflower Hall property was handed over to the State of Himachal Pradesh on March 31, 2025. The company recorded a net exceptional loss of Rs 110.32 crore in Q1FY26 related to the write-down of investments and advances in MRL. Labour Code Impact: During FY26, the company assessed the financial implications of the new Labour Codes and recognized an incremental obligation of Rs 30.00 crore (Consolidated) and Rs 29.09 crore (Standalone) as an exceptional item. Acquisition: On January 09, 2026, the company, through its subsidiary International Hospital Limited, consummated the acquisition of TMI Healthcare Private Limited (People Tree Hospital) for a transaction value of Rs 43,386 lakh.
