IT Consulting & Software company Mphasis announced Q1FY27 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Revenue from operations for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 43,840.54 million, representing a growth of 3.33% QoQ compared to Rs 42,426.68 million in Q4FY26 and an increase of 17.46% YoY compared to Rs 37,324.89 million in Q1FY26. Total income for Q1FY27 was Rs 44,669.11 million, up 2.67% from Rs 43,505.85 million in Q4FY26 and up 17.14% from Rs 38,134.37 million in Q1FY26. Profit for the period in Q1FY27 was Rs 4,895.06 million, a decline of 3.95% QoQ from Rs 5,096.40 million in Q4FY26, but grew by 10.82% YoY from Rs 4,417.03 million in Q1FY26. Earnings per equity share (Basic) for Q1FY27 was Rs 25.65, compared to Rs 26.73 in Q4FY26 and Rs 23.22 in Q1FY26. For FY26, the company reported total revenue from operations of Rs 1,58,796.47 million and a total profit for the period of Rs 18,626.02 million. Gross margin for Q1FY27 was 26.9%, which declined by 140 bps QoQ and 200 bps YoY. Operating margin for Q1FY27 stood at 14.8%, declining 60 bps QoQ and 50 bps YoY. Net margin for Q1FY27 was 11.2%, which declined 80 bps QoQ and 60 bps YoY. Standalone Financial Highlights: Revenue from operations for Q1FY27 was Rs 27,010.80 million, showing a growth of 10.06% QoQ from Rs 24,541.35 million in Q4FY26 and a growth of 20.73% YoY compared to Rs 22,373.71 million in Q1FY26. Total income for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 27,610.54 million, increasing 10.71% QoQ from Rs 24,938.76 million in Q4FY26 and 20.39% YoY from Rs 22,933.53 million in Q1FY26. Profit after tax for Q1FY27 reached Rs 4,592.13 million, registering a growth of 23.46% QoQ from Rs 3,719.41 million in Q4FY26 and an increase of 54.00% YoY from Rs 2,981.83 million in Q1FY26. Business Highlights: The company secured new TCV wins of USD 461 million in Q1FY27, of which 63% is AI-led. Mphasis entered into an agreement with a Tier 1 global technology company to support various functions including an Online Store, Retail, Commerce, and Data Platforms. A Tier 1 US-based Telecom leader chose Mphasis to transform and optimize enterprise business operations through AI-driven initiatives focused on cost reduction and process automation. A Top-tier Investment Bank selected Mphasis for strategic programs including crypto, tokenization, and the build-out of multicurrency capability. A Top US bank chose Mphasis to modernize its Fraud and Claims operations, Banking Operations, and Retail Core functions. Segment-wise Performance: Banking and Financial Services: Revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 23,547.99 million compared to Rs 23,032.86 million in Q4FY26. Technology Media and Telecom: Revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 8,123.97 million compared to Rs 6,893.72 million in Q4FY26. Insurance: Revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 6,659.29 million compared to Rs 6,791.01 million in Q4FY26. Logistics and Transportation: Revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 1,879.11 million compared to Rs 2,181.53 million in Q4FY26. Others: Revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 4,463.13 million compared to Rs 4,168.96 million in Q4FY26.
