GPT Infraprojects has received a Rs. 64 crore order from Rail Vikas Nigam, to build a bridge over the Chanderbagha river in Uttarakhand. GPT, a railways focused company based out of Kolkata, is required to complete the project in 18 months.
While the company is consistently in profits for the last four quarters, GPT saw a marginal decline of 14% in net profits in its most recent December quarter, compared to the same quarter the previous year.
