Hi Tech Pipes (HITC) reported good Q2FY19 in spite of it being a seasonally weak quarter. Revenues at Rs 3,394mn, recording a YoY growth of 34.4% 5.6% QoQ driven by increase in volumes and (8.4% YoY) and higher realisation (24.0% YoY) due to a better product mix and higher steel prices. Total volumes stood at 65,947 MT. Realisation/ton was higher by Rs 9,952 YoY to Rs 51,466. EBITDA at Rs 188m, was up by 12.6% YoY on account of operational efficiencies and greater reach in to the more profitable markets of Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.
