As results for the quarter continue to come in today, Simplex Infrastructures is noticeable for all the wrong reasons, delivering a net profit decline of 56% YoY for the March quarter, while revenue grew marginally YoY by 6.33%. Simplex was plagued by rumors in recent days that the company's auditors had resigned, after the company said yesterday that the audit of the firm could not be completed. The firm had to issue a clarification noting that the auditors had not resigned. E&Y is the auditor for Simplex Infrastructure along with HS Bhattacharjee & Co. EY is also on the board of the company.
