Balkrishna Industries (BKT) has consistently leveraged cost advantages in the global off-highway tyres (OHT) business for a decade. It has outpaced competition with ~19% volume CAGR over the period. Yet, with a modest ~5% market share, BKT has several white spaces in terms of product segments and markets to expand into over the next few years. This will be catalysed by completion of its green-field facility at Bhuj, which almost doubles capacity and also raises radials to 40% of the mix.
