Omaxe to invest Rs 400 cr to develop 2 commercial projects in Faridabad

Real estate company Omaxe will invest Rs 400 crore to develop two new commercial projects in Faridabad, Haryana, to expand its business. The two new projects will be part of its 120-acre mixed-use development named 'World Street by Omaxe'. The first commercial project New Singapore is spread over 11.6 acre, comprising 15 lakh square feet of area largely retail spaces, while the other project Clarkee, covering nearly 2 acre, will be developed as party and nightlife destination. The projects are expected to be completed by 2029. The total estimated cost to build these two projects is over Rs 400 crore, Omaxe said, adding that this will be funded through internal accruals. The company has launched around 700 units so far. The rates in these two projects range between Rs 4,000 per square feet to Rs 10,000 per square feet. Omaxe to invest Rs 2,700 cr to modernise 6 bus terminals in Uttar Pradesh

Real estate firm Omaxe Ltd's subsidiary will invest Rs 2,700 crore to upgrade six bus terminals in Uttar Pradesh. In a regulatory filing on Friday, Omaxe said that Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has awarded it a contract to modernise six key bus terminals in the State Ghaziabad, Lucknow (Gomti Nagar), Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Ayodhya and Lucknow (Amausi) under public-private partnership (PPP) model. Omaxe will undertake the modernisation of bus terminals through its newly established wholly-owned subsidiary 'BeTogether'. These projects aim to enhance public transport infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh while integrating state-of-the-art commercial spaces. "With a total investment of around Rs 2,700 crore, these projects are expected to generate over Rs 4,700 crore in revenue," Omaxe said. SAT stays Sebi order barring Omaxe, others from securities market for 2 yrs

The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) has stayed a Sebi order that barred realty firm Omaxe, its Chairman Rohtas Goel, Managing Director Mohit Goel and others from the securities market for two years for misrepresentation in the company's financial statements. The latest order came after Omaxe and others challenged the order passed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on July 30. In its ruling on October 1, the appellate tribunal said, "direction at paragraphs No. 41(1) and (2) shall remain stayed, subject to deposit of penalty amount by the appellant within four weeks". Paragraphs No 41(1) and (2) pertain to securities market ban and prohibition from holding any position as key managerial personnel of any other listed company imposed on individuals by Sebi. Sebi, in its ruling, restrained Omaxe, Rohtas Goel, Mohit Goel and three others -- Sudhangshu S Biswal, Arun Kumar Pandey, and Vimal Gupta -- from the securities markets for two years.
