Independent investor Nemish Shah has made his biggest investment till date into the Industrial Machinery company Lakshmi Machine Works, investing more than Rs. 439 crore. His previous largest investment has been in Asahi India Glass, in which he had put in Rs. 356.5 crore (Shah's full portfolio is here).
Lakshmi Machine Works delivered good results in its most recent quarter, with 22% YoY net profit growth and 3% YoY revenue growth. Looking at the TTM financials, it is set to cross its FY16 revenue and profit figures.
With the exception of Zodiac Clothing, all of Nemish Shah's portfolio investments are up. The best performer among his investments has been Super Spinning Mills, which saw its share price increase by over 90% in the last one year.
