Solar power firm Ujaas Energy recently announced three new orders it has won from 1) MOIL, for design to commission of 5.5 MW Solar PV plants 2) HAL for end to end construction of a 15 MW Solar Plant, and 3) from the Numaligarh Refinery Limited for a 1 Mwp Solar plant.
The precise value of these new contracts were not mentioned by the firm. The most recent quarter was a disappointment for Ujaas Energy, with both YoY revenues and net profits declining. In FY17 the company undertook 81 MW (across all segments) worth of orders, and the firm's current order book is approximately 20 MW.
Both institutional and promoter shareholding in Ujaas Energy has declined in recent quarters, typically not a positive sign for a company. The firm's share price traded down on high volumes on 18 July, and has continued to fall since then.
