IT Consulting & Software company Sonata Software announced Q1FY27 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Revenue from operations for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 3,27,910 lakh, representing a growth of 10.59% YoY compared to Rs 2,96,518 lakh in Q1FY26 and a 29.29% growth QoQ from Rs 2,53,619 lakh in Q4FY26. Total income reached Rs 3,28,587 lakh in Q1FY27, showing a YoY increase of 9.92% from Rs 2,98,940 lakh in Q1FY26 and a QoQ increase of 27.67% from Rs 2,57,376 lakh in Q4FY26. For the full year FY26, consolidated total income was Rs 10,80,578 lakh. Profit before tax stood at Rs 13,709 lakh in Q1FY27, reflecting a YoY decline of 10.23% from Rs 15,271 lakh in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decrease of 32.06% from Rs 20,174 lakh in Q4FY26 (before exceptional items). Profit for the period reached Rs 10,811 lakh in Q1FY27, representing a YoY decrease of 1.12% from Rs 10,934 lakh in Q1FY26 and a QoQ decrease of 17.16% from Rs 13,050 lakh in Q4FY26. Total comprehensive income for Q1FY27 was Rs 16,010 lakh, compared to Rs 11,340 lakh in Q1FY26 and Rs 11,367 lakh in Q4FY26. Earnings per share (Basic and Diluted) for Q1FY27 was Rs 3.91, compared to Rs 3.94 in Q1FY26 and Rs 4.71 in Q4FY26. Standalone Financial Highlights: Revenue from operations in Q1FY27 was Rs 44,385 lakh, a YoY growth of 59.33% from Rs 27,857 lakh in Q1FY26 and an 8.07% growth QoQ from Rs 41,071 lakh in Q4FY26. Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 45,292 lakh, compared to Rs 29,212 lakh in Q1FY26 (up 55.05% YoY) and Rs 46,485 lakh in Q4FY26 (down 2.57% QoQ). Standalone total income for FY26 was Rs 1,61,129 lakh. Profit for the period reached Rs 4,114 lakh in Q1FY27, up by 81.31% YoY from Rs 2,269 lakh in Q1FY26 and down 46.03% QoQ from Rs 7,623 lakh in Q4FY26. Total comprehensive income for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 4,722 lakh, up from Rs 2,232 lakh in Q1FY26. Business Highlights: Segment Performance: India: Segment revenue reached Rs 2,24,259 lakh in Q1FY27, with segment results (Profit before tax, interest, depreciation, and amortization) of Rs 6,645 lakh. Other than India: Segment revenue was Rs 1,03,958 lakh in Q1FY27, with segment results of Rs 10,994 lakh. Segment Performance (Services/Products): International IT Services: Revenue stood at Rs 777.2 crore, a growth of 11% YoY. PAT reached Rs 62.2 crore. 7 new customers were added during the quarter. Domestic Products & Services: Revenue was Rs 2,505.6 crore, a growth of 10.2% YoY. PAT stood at Rs 45.9 crore. Dividend: The Board declared an interim dividend of Rs 1.25 per equity share (125% on par value of Re 1/-) for the financial year FY27. Leadership Changes: Mr. Rajsekhar Datta Roy was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company with effect from May 09, 2026, following the resignation of Mr. Samir Dhir on May 08, 2026. Exceptional Items (Historical): The Group had recorded exceptional items in FY26 totaling Rs 3,128 lakh, which included impairment losses on receivables of Rs 9,695 lakh offset by a reversal of contingent consideration of Rs 6,538 lakh.
