Anand Kabra, Managing Director, Kabra Extrusiontechnik, said: “Q2FY27 marks a clear step-change in the Company's financial profile. Consolidated revenues grew 64.2% YoY, EBITDA more than doubled to Rs 194 million – more than the Company earned through the whole of FY26 – and PAT grew to Rs 39 million. For the half year, revenues grew 56.6% YoY, EBITDA grew more than four-fold to Rs 256 million and we delivered a profit of Rs 22 million against a loss of Rs 73 million in H1FY26. Equally important, this is profitable growth: EBITDA margin expanded 210 bps YoY in the quarter and 468 bps YoY for the half year, demonstrating the operating leverage that comes with scale. Geon is now the principal engine of the Company. Its revenues grew 2.5 x YoY in the quarter to Rs 1,659 million and 2.1 x YoY for the half year, taking its share of consolidated revenues to 68% in H1FY27 from 34% in H1FY26. Our extrusion machinery business continues to provide the engineering depth, customer relationships and manufacturing base on which this transition is being built; while its revenues reflect a softer near-term machinery cycle, its underlying strengths remain intact. The past few months have widened Geon's strategic canvas considerably – high-voltage battery packs for four-wheeler passenger cars, a collaboration with a leading Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, a nomination from the leading passenger vehicle manufacturer in Vietnam, and, in energy storage, the commissioning of 20 MW / 40 MWh of grid-scale BESS in Rajasthan on an EPC basis alongside the 2.88 GWh Phase 1 at the Khavda renewable energy hub, where the client has now initiated a 7.5 GWh Phase 2. The incorporation of our wholly owned subsidiary in the UAE formalises the structure for this international expansion. Rather than addressing a single application, Geon is progressively building capabilities across electric two-wheelers, passenger vehicles, international EV programmes and gridscale energy storage. With a strengthened balance sheet following the Rs 1,410 million preferential issue and a widening pipeline of customer programmes, we believe the Company is entering the most exciting phase of its evolution, and we remain focused on converting this momentum into sustained, profitable growth.” Result PDF
