Electronic Components company Centum Electronics announced Q1FY27 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Total Income (Continuing Operations): Consolidated total income from continuing operations for Q1FY27 was Rs 2,064.58 million, down 40.65% QoQ from Rs 3,478.91 million in Q4FY26, while showing a 13.73% increase YoY from Rs 1,815.38 million in Q1FY26. Total Net Profit (for the period): The company achieved a total consolidated net profit of Rs 1,055.00 million in Q1FY27. This marks a massive QoQ jump from Rs 16.40 million in Q4FY26 and a YoY growth of 2,238.73% compared to Rs 45.11 million in Q1FY26. This significant increase was driven primarily by profit from discontinued operations. Profit from Discontinued Operations: Q1FY27 results include a substantial profit of Rs 942.69 million from discontinued operations, which includes a profit on deconsolidation of Rs 812.33 million related to the French subsidiary. Total Comprehensive Income: Total comprehensive income (net of tax) for the quarter reached Rs 1,062.52 million, compared to a loss of Rs 28.03 million in Q4FY26 and a gain of Rs 29.65 million in Q1FY26. Standalone Financial Highlights: Total Income: For Q1FY27, standalone total income stood at Rs 2,070.91 million, representing a decline of 41.11% on a QoQ basis compared to Rs 3,516.59 million in Q4FY26. However, it grew by 10.14% on a YoY basis compared to Rs 1,880.24 million in Q1FY26. Revenue from Operations: Standalone revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 2,040.99 million, which is a 40.43% decrease from Rs 3,426.25 million in Q4FY26 but an increase of 10.74% from Rs 1,843.10 million in Q1FY26. Profit Before Tax (PBT): The company reported a standalone PBT of Rs 182.54 million in Q1FY27. This reflects a QoQ decrease of 58.41% from Rs 438.95 million in Q4FY26 and a YoY decrease of 13.90% from Rs 212.02 million in Q1FY26. Deconsolidation of Subsidiaries: During Q1FY27, the Court of Lyon approved the transfer of substantially all operating business and employees of the French subsidiary, Centum T&S; Group Societe Anonyme (S.A.), to successful bidders. Consequently, the management assessed that it lost control of these operations effective June 4, 2026, leading to their deconsolidation and a recorded profit of Rs 812.33 million. Canada Operations: The company continues to process regulatory filings for the liquidation of its Canadian subsidiaries after deciding to discontinue their operations in December 2025. Exceptional Item (Standalone): During Q1FY27, the company recovered Rs 24.17 million from trade receivables and wrote back liabilities of Rs 3.15 million, which were previously provided for in relation to the Canada subsidiaries.
