Revenue from Operations: Revenue for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 638.03 crore, marking a YoY increase of 6.03% from Rs 601.77 crore in Q1FY26 and a QoQ growth of 5.61% from Rs 604.12 crore in Q4FY26. Net Profit: The net profit for the period reached Rs 109.14 crore in Q1FY27, reflecting a decline of 23.86% from Rs 143.35 crore in Q1FY26 (YoY). However, it showed a significant QoQ growth of 71.25% compared to Rs 63.73 crore in Q4FY26. Earnings Per Share (EPS): The basic and diluted EPS for Q1FY27 was Rs 3.95, compared to Rs 5.17 in Q1FY26 and Rs 2.32 in Q4FY26. Standalone Financial Highlights: Total Income: Standalone total income for Q1FY27 was Rs 639.83 crore, an increase of 5.35% from Rs 607.33 crore in Q1FY26 (YoY) and a 4.96% increase from Rs 609.59 crore in Q4FY26 (QoQ). Revenue from Operations: Sales/Income from operations stood at Rs 619.54 crore in Q1FY27, compared to Rs 587.68 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 597.31 crore in Q4FY26. Net Profit: The standalone net profit for Q1FY27 was Rs 105.47 crore, a decrease of 24.52% against Rs 139.73 crore in Q1FY26 (YoY), but an increase of 84.48% compared to Rs 57.17 crore in Q4FY26 (QoQ). Earnings Per Share (EPS): Standalone basic and diluted EPS was Rs 3.81 for Q1FY27, compared to Rs 5.03 in Q1FY26 and Rs 2.10 in Q4FY26. Business Highlights: Segment-wise Performance: Industrial Batteries: The segment contributed Rs 344.61 crore to the revenue, showing steady performance compared to Rs 325.89 crore in Q1FY26. Electronics: This segment recorded revenue of Rs 227.31 crore, showing growth from Rs 180.40 crore in Q1FY26. Defence & Aviation Batteries: Revenue from this segment was Rs 37.93 crore, a decline compared to Rs 73.65 crore in Q1FY26. Operational and Corporate Updates: Corporate Identity: The company has changed its name from HBL Power Systems Limited to HBL Engineering Limited. Strategic Investment: During the reporting period, the company made an investment of Rs 6.37 crore in Xalten Systems Private Limited (Associate Company) towards Equity Shares and Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS), resulting in a 9.84% shareholding on a fully diluted basis.
