Consumer Electronics company Symphony announced Q4FY26 & FY26 results Consolidated Financial Highlights Total Income: For Q4FY26, Total Income stood at Rs 351 crore, registering a growth of 45.04% QoQ from Rs 242 crore in Q3FY26, but a decline of 29.66% YoY from Rs 499 crore in Q4FY25. For FY26, Total Income was Rs 1,192 crore, down by 26.56% YoY from Rs 1,623 crore in FY25. Revenue from Operations: Q4FY26 revenue was Rs 338 crore, up 45.06% QoQ from Rs 233 crore in Q3FY26, and down 30.74% YoY from Rs 488 crore in Q4FY25. FY26 Revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,131 crore, declining 28.24% YoY from Rs 1,576 crore in FY25. Profit Before Exceptional Items and Tax: Q4FY26 profit stood at Rs 52 crore, increasing 116.67% QoQ from Rs 24 crore in Q3FY26, but declining 52.73% YoY from Rs 110 crore in Q4FY25. For FY26, it was Rs 149 crore, a decline of 54.29% YoY from Rs 326 crore in FY25. Net Profit/(Loss): The company reported a Net Loss of Rs 218 crore in Q4FY26, compared to a Net Profit of Rs 19 crore in Q3FY26 and a Net Profit of Rs 79 crore in Q4FY25. For FY26, the company recorded a Net Loss of Rs 141 crore against a Net Profit of Rs 213 crore in FY25. The loss was primarily driven by exceptional impairment items. Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and Diluted EPS for Q4FY26 was Rs (31.87) compared to Rs 11.39 in Q4FY25. For FY26, EPS stood at Rs (20.54) against Rs 30.89 in FY25. Standalone Financial Highlights Total Income: Q4FY26 Total Income was Rs 210 crore, an increase of 8.25% QoQ from Rs 194 crore in Q3FY26, and a decline of 44.74% YoY from Rs 380 crore in Q4FY25. For FY26, it stood at Rs 823 crore, down 33.14% YoY compared to Rs 1,231 crore in FY25. Revenue from Operations: In Q4FY26, revenue stood at Rs 199 crore, rising 9.34% QoQ from Rs 182 crore in Q3FY26, and dropping 45.92% YoY from Rs 368 crore in Q4FY25. FY26 Revenue from operations was Rs 765 crore, declining 35.28% YoY from Rs 1,182 crore in FY25. Profit Before Exceptional Items and Tax: Q4FY26 profit was Rs 41 crore, remaining flat QoQ compared to Rs 41 crore in Q3FY26, and down 62.39% YoY from Rs 109 crore in Q4FY25. For FY26, it was Rs 164 crore, a 50.15% YoY decline from Rs 329 crore in FY25. Net Profit/(Loss): The standalone entity reported a Net Loss of Rs 265 crore in Q4FY26 against a Net Profit of Rs 34 crore in Q3FY26 and a Net Profit of Rs 44 crore in Q4FY25. FY26 Net Loss stood at Rs 166 crore compared to a Net Profit of Rs 176 crore in FY25. Segment-wise Performance (Consolidated) Air Cooling and Other Appliances: Segment Revenue for Q4FY26 was Rs 348 crore, a decline of 28.98% YoY from Rs 490 crore in Q4FY25. For FY26, it was Rs 1,158 crore, down 26.80% YoY from Rs 1,582 crore in FY25. Corporate Funds: Segment Revenue for Q4FY26 was Rs 3 crore, down from Rs 9 crore in Q4FY25. For FY26, it was Rs 34 crore compared to Rs 41 crore in FY25. Geographical Segments (Revenue): India: Q4FY26 revenue stood at Rs 181 crore, a decrease of 44.82% YoY from Rs 328 crore in Q4FY25. FY26 revenue was Rs 684 crore compared to Rs 1,065 crore in FY25. Rest of the World: Q4FY26 revenue was Rs 157 crore, marginally lower than Rs 160 crore in Q4FY25. FY26 revenue stood at Rs 447 crore compared to Rs 511 crore in FY25. Business Highlights Dividend: The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of Rs 5.00/- (250%) per equity share having a face value of Rs 2/- each for FY26. The total dividend for FY26 aggregates to Rs 9/- (450%) per equity share, which includes three interim dividends of Rs 4/- (200%) per equity share paid during the year. Impairment & Exceptional Items: During Q4FY26 and FY26, the company decided to fully impair the goodwill attributable to Climate Holdings Pty Limited (SAPL) by Rs 173.09 crore as the subsidiary significantly underperformed against its business plan. Furthermore, property, plant & equipment, and intangible assets were impaired by Rs 35.47 crore. In the standalone books, this resulted in an impairment loss of Rs 298.12 crore for the value in use of the investment. Rollback of Subsidiary Divestment: Considering the rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, the Board decided on January 28, 2026, to roll back the divestment process for wholly-owned subsidiaries Climate Holdings Pty Limited (CHPL) and IMPCO S de R.L. de C.V. (IMPCO). These entities have been reclassified as "Profit or loss from Continuing Operations" instead of "Discontinued Operations". Intellectual Property Transfer: Subsequent to the reporting period, the Board approved the transfer of intellectual properties (patents, trademarks, and commercial designs) owned by Climate Technologies Pty Limited (CTPL) directly to the ultimate parent company, Symphony Limited. Leadership Appointment: The Board of Directors reappointed Mr. Nrupesh Shah as Managing Director – Corporate Affairs for a further period of five years, effective November 1, 2026. Beyond India Summer Portfolio (BISP) — comprising LSV, tower fans, kitchen cooling fans, water heaters, India exports, and overseas subsidiary sales — contributed 49% of FY26 consol. revenue, advancing strategic diversification. Revenue at IMPCO Mexico and SCL Brazil remained broadly flat, with performance affected by channel inventory overhang. In China, GSK China repaid Rs 26 crore of the Symphony loan during CY26 year-to-date, reducing the outstanding amount to Rs 4 crore from a peak of Rs 60 crore in May 2024. In the United States, the business recorded strong momentum and remained profitable on both a quarterly and annual basis. In Australia, Climate Technologies Pty Ltd (CTPL)'s transformation efforts continued to face challenges, with stagnant revenue and negative profit after tax. Domestic demand remained under pressure during the March 2026 quarter, as channel partners adopted a cautious approach amid inventory overhangs. Export revenue was affected by ongoing geopolitical headwinds in the Middle East. Business momentum has shown signs of improvement from early April, supported by favorable weather conditions in the South and West; however, summer is yet to fully set in across the North and Northeast. In FY26 standalone financials, BISP revenue stood at Rs 192 crore (25% of revenue), lowering India-specific household air cooler summer seasonality.
