Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd has informed BSE that MCA through notification dated February 16, 2015 had issued The Companies (Indian Accounting Standards), Rules 2015 under which Ind-AS is applicable to BHEL w.e.f. FY 2016-17. Ind-AS compliant significant accounting policies have been adopted by the Board in its meeting held on July 16, 2016.
