Dr. Reddy's hit by 13 observations from the FDA

Dr. Reddy's oncology formulation plant in Visakhapatnam has received 13 observations from the USFDA for violation of norms. The stock is now close to its two year low, falling over 4% just today and down 10% since the beginning of the year. The 13 observations in the Form 483 issued by FDA investigations mean multiple violations at the plant of the US Food Drugs & Cosmetics Act.

After Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, its now Tata Motors and Volkswagen's turn. The two companies have signed an in-principle agreement to explore the possibility of working together, to develop a new range of products. The Tata-Volkswagen alliance has been under negotiation for over a year, and the two companies will look at sharing of components and technologies.
