This is with reference to your e-mail dated 02nd September, 2022 seeking clarification on the media report titled 'BEL signs MoU with Smiths Detection India to manufacture high-energy scanning systems in India'. In this regard, we would like to inform that a MoU has been signed between BEL & Smiths Detection India for 'To manufacture High-Energy Scanning Systems in India' to support Indian Government's 'Make in India' initiative. The relevant details are attached at Annexure-A.
