The Sensex was sharply in the green today, with sentiment up after election results. Among the biggest gainers were Kridhan Infra, - the Mumbai-based infrastructure construction firm rose over 18% after a large bulk deal by the government of Singapore, who bought 8.95 lakh shares (1.2% company stake).
Another big gainer was Madras Fertilizers, which jumped as the government gets closer to parliament approval for a spend of Rs. 23,000 crore on fertiliser subsidies. For the full gainers screener, click here.
