Indowind Energy approves allotment of 1.75 cr shares for Rs 12 per share

Indowind Energy Ltd on Friday said its board has approved the allotment of over 1.75 crore shares for Rs 12 per equity share. This price includes a premium of Rs 2 on each share, Indowind Energy said in a regulatory filing. "In the meeting held on March 31, 2023, the Board considered and approved the allotment of 1,75,93,294 equity shares at a price of Rs 12 per equity share (including a premium of Rs 2 per equity share) (allotment)," it said. In view of the above, the paid-up equity share capital of the company has increased from Rs 89,74,14,860 (8,97,41,486 equity shares of Rs 10 each) to Rs 107,33,47,800 (10,73,34,780 equity shares of Rs 10 each), it added.

Indowind Energy to allot 35.8 mn shares worth Rs 43 cr under rights issue

Indowind Energy board on Tuesday approved a rights issue of 3.58 crore equity shares for Rs 43.07 crore. The right issue will be opened on January 27, 2023, and will be closed on February 10, 2023, a BSE filing showed. The board meeting held today, i.e. December 27, 2022, has inter alia considered and approved the terms of the rights issue, it added. The size of the rights issue is 3,58,96,594 fully paid-up equity shares for an amount aggregating to Rs 43,07,59,128 at an issue price of Rs 12 per piece, including a premium of Rs 2 per scrip. The record date for the issue will be January 13, 2023, (Friday) for the purpose of determining the names of the equity shareholders who would be eligible to receive the rights entitlement in the issue (Eligible Equity Shareholders). Indowind Energy reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 21.64 lakh in the December quarter, mainly due to low revenue. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 61.02 lakh in the quarter ended December 31, 2020, a BSE filing stated. The total revenue of the company stood at Rs 4.22 crore in the quarter, compared to Rs 5.32 crore a year ago.
