The data centre industry is entering a phase of unprecedented growth, Nxtra CEO Ashish Arora has said, adding that as AI, cloud, and digital connectivity redefines lives and work, the underlying infrastructure, too, must be future-ready technologically, operationally, and environmentally. In its sustainability report 2025 listing out its key achievements, Nxtra by Airtel said 49 per cent of the total power consumed at core data centres was sourced from renewable energy sources. "Data centre industry is entering a phase of unprecedented growth -- and Nxtra is proud to be at the forefront of this transformation," Arora said in the CEO message in the report. Airtel network down in Delhi, users face trouble making and receiving calls

Bharti Airtel experienced a network outage in the Delhi-NCR region on Monday, with several users reporting difficulties in making or receiving calls. The network service tracking website Down Detector showed that the complaints about the Airtel network started around 3.30 pm and peaked about an hour later. "We are currently experiencing a network outage, our team is actively working to resolve the issue and restore services promptly. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused," Airtel social media customer care handle Airtel Cares said. Several Airtel customers, who complained about facing issues with the services, received the same reply from Airtel Cares. When contacted, an Airtel Spokesperson said, "Our customers from Delhi-NCR are experiencing some voice calling issues for the past hour or so. Optiemus Infracom targets 2,000 cr revenue from tempered glass screens

Electronics manufacturer Optiemus Infracom expects revenue of Rs 1,800-2,000 crore in the financial year 2027 from its tempered glass screen protectors business, a top company official said on Wednesday. The company launched RhinoTech -- Made-in-India Tempered Glass Screen Protectors, which uses glass engineered by Corning. Optiemus Infracom Chairman Ashok Kumar Gupta said that RhinoTech brings global technology and innovation with enhanced hygienic benefits like anti-microbial glass. "It is the first time in India that such advanced screen protection, developed with glass from Corning Incorporated, will be produced locally and made available for both domestic and international markets. We expect additional revenue of Rs 1,800-2,000 crore in financial year 2027 from RhinoTech business," Gupta said. RhinoTech screen protectors will be manufactured at Optiemus' facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
