Wonderla Holidays announced Q1FY23 results: Footfalls for the First Quarter ended 30 June 2022 was 11.18 lakhs as against 0.34 lakhs during the corresponding period of the last Financial Year. Gross Revenue for the First Quarter ended 30th June 2022 was Rs.152.30 crores as against Rs.5.43 crores during the corresponding period of the last Financial Year. EBITDA for the First Quarter ended 30th June 2022 was Rs.94.20 crores as against a negative EBITDA of Rs.9.05 crores during the corresponding period of the last Financial Year. Profit After Tax for the First Quarter ended 30th June 2022 was Rs.64.38 crores as against a loss after tax of Rs.13.25 crores during the corresponding period of the last Financial Year. Gross Revenue was Rs.59.44 crores up 71% YoY. EBITDA & PAT above the pre-pandemic level. FY’22: Resilient Performance Gross Revenue was Rs.133.30 crores up 198% YoY. EBITDA was positive at Rs.25.97 crores against a negative EBITDA of Rs.22.29 crores during FY21. EBITDA for MQ’22 was Rs.21.34 crores against Rs.4.03 crores during MQ’21 registering a growth of 429%. EBITDA for FY22 was at Rs 25.97 crores compared to negative EBITDA of Rs.22.29 crores in FY21. Profit After Tax for MQ’22 was Rs.8.51 crores as against loss after tax of Rs.4.87 crores in MQ’21. Leisure Facilities firm Wonderla Holidays declares Q3FY22 result: Q3 FY22 was the best quarter from the last 7 quarters. The company recorded PAT positive. Gross Revenue for the Third Quarter ended December 31st, 2021 was Rs.50.10 crores over Rs.6.32 crores during the corresponding period of the last Financial Year. EBITDA for the Third Quarter 2021-22 was Rs.16.05 crores against EBITDA loss of Rs.8.70 crores during the corresponding period of last Financial Year. Profit after tax for the third Quarter 2021-22 ended 31st December 2021 was Rs.4.55 crores as against loss after tax of Rs.14.75 crores during the corresponding period of last Financial Year. In the Third Quarter of 2021-22, the Company achieved a total footfall of 3.81 lakhs. With Q3 results, recorded nine months’ EBITDA positive and improved cash position. Resort achieved 58% occupancy during the third quarter of the Financial Year 21-22. Hyderabad Park reopened on 5th August, Bangalore Park on 12th August and Kochi Park on 1st September 2021 respectively. Bangalore Resort opened on 5th July 2021. Gross Revenue for the Second Quarter ended September 30th, 2021 was Rs. 18.32 crores over Rs.1.76 crores during the corresponding period of last financial year. EBITDA loss for the Second Quarter 2021-22 was Rs.2.38 crores against loss of Rs.7.57 crores during the corresponding period of last Financial Year. Loss after tax for the Second Quarter 2021-22 ended 30th September 2021 was Rs.9.28 crores as against a Loss after tax of Rs.15.79 crores during the corresponding period of last Financial Year. In the Second Quarter 2021-22, the Company achieved a total footfall of 1.48 Lakhs against Nil Footfalls in the corresponding period of last Financial Year (parks remained closed on account of COVID-19 Pandemic first wave). Resort achieved 23% occupancy during the second quarter of the Financial Year 21-22. During the 2nd quarter, Hyderabad Park was opened from 5th August and Bangalore opened from 12th August whereas Kochi Park opened only on 1st September and was functional only from Thursday to Sunday in the opening month and achieved a footfalls of 1.47 L visitors. As part of reopening initiative and mark of gratitude, We have invited 4500 ‘Covid Angels’ along with 3 of their family members or friends to a fun –filled day with a free entry to Wonderla Parks. This time we have invited the application from the public and informed them to self-nominate or nominate a person whom they know who have been tirelessly working during the pandemic. All our staff are vaccinated and as a testimony to our excellent hygiene practices, all Wonderla Parks have received the COV-Safe certification by Bureau Veritas India and become the first amusement park in India to be awarded for the same.
