In furtherance to our submission vide intimation letter dated 07th May, 2022 pertaining to the outcome of the Board Meeting, for the purpose of clarification, we hereby submit that the Board has proposed and recommended the final dividend for FY 2021-22 @ 60% i.e. Rs. 1.20 per equity shares of the face value of Rs. 2/- each subject to approval of the shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting in addition to interim dividend @ 60% declared and paid during the FY 2021-22, which makes total dividend declared during the year @ 120% i.e. Rs. 2.4/- per equity share. Further, the book closure period is scheduled from Saturday, 11th June, 2022 to Wednesday, 15th June, 2022 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of determining the names of members, eligible for receiving dividend, if any approved by the members of the Company at the 28th Annual General Meeting of the Company scheduled on 25th June, 2022. This will also be hosted on the Company's website at www.smcindiaonline.com

This is to inform that the 28th Annual General Meeting of the Company is scheduled to be held on 25th June, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. via Video Conferencing and Other Audio Visual Means. In this regard, and pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 42 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Book Closure Period shall be from 11th June, 2022 to 15 June, 2022 both days inclusive and Friday, 10th June, 2022 shall be considered as the Record Date for the purpose of determining the names of the members, eligible for receiving the final dividend, subject to the approval of members of the Company.
