Solex Energy net profit up 390% at Rs 42.79 cr in FY25 on higher revenues

Solar solutions provider Solex Energy on Tuesday posted 390 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 42.79 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25, mainly on the back of higher revenues. The company's Earnings Per Share (EPS) rose to Rs 43.82, reflecting a 301 per cent year-on-year growth, a company statement said. According to the statement, Solex Energy also reported a remarkable 390 per cent increase in Profit After Tax (PAT), soaring to Rs 42.79 crore from Rs 8.73 crore in the previous year. The company delivered a robust performance, with consolidated revenues reaching Rs 665.82 crore, a significant 81 per cent year-on-year growth compared to Rs 368.02 crore in FY 2023-24, it stated. The stellar growth was driven by increased demand for solar modules, strategic execution of large-scale EPC projects, and geographical expansion in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, it added. Solex Energy FY25 revenue rises 80% to Rs 665 cr in FY25, aims expansion

Solex Energy on Thursday reported a revenue of Rs 665 crore for FY25, marking an increase of over 80 per cent over the preceding fiscal. The company had garnered a revenue of Rs 368 crore in the 2023-24 financial year, it said in a statement. Approximately 22 per cent of the company's revenue comes from the EPC business, while the remaining portion is generated from the module business, the company said. It has reported a revenue of 665 crore, which is 80 per cent higher year-on-year (y-o-y), the company said. The company's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Chetan Shah said, "As we approach our 30th year in the industry, we remain dedicated to accelerating India's clean energy transition and expanding our global footprint." Solex Energy net profit rises to Rs 13 cr in Apr-Sep on higher income

Solex Energy on Tuesday reported a multi-fold jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 13 crore in the April-September period of FY25, on account of higher income. It posted a net profit of Rs 0.73 crore during the six-month period ended September 2023, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company's total income jumped to Rs 274.16 crore against Rs 93.75 crore in the year-ago period. "As we look ahead, Solex remains focused on scaling up our operations and innovation to meet the growing demand for clean energy solutions across India," Chetan Shah, Chairman and Managing Director of Solex Energy, said. The company is bullish on the growing renewable energy market in India and has already announced investment plans worth USD 1 billion under its Vision 2030 strategy, he said. Solex Energy has plans to increase its module manufacturing capacity from 1.5 GW to 15 GW, which will cost around Rs 8,000 crore.

Solex Energy partners with SBI to provide finance for solar projects

Solex Energy on Saturday said it has partnered with State Bank of India (SBI) to offer solar financing options for commercial, industrial, and institutional customers. As part of the partnership, SBI will offer solar financing through loans up to Rs 10 crore for solar projects under its Surya Shakti Solar Finance Scheme across India, Solex Energy said in a statement. "The collaboration aims to make solar energy accessible, affordable, and a driving force for India's renewable energy future. Solex Energy plans to scale up manufacturing capacity to 15 GW by 2030

Solex Energy has plans to scale up its module manufacturing capacity to 15 gigawatts which would entail an investment of Rs 8,000 crore, CMD Chetan Shah said on Monday. The investment will be made under 'Solex Energy Vision 2030' plan, the top company official told PTI. "We will increase module manufacturing capacity from 1.5 GW to 15 GW. The execution of the plan will require an investment of around Rs 8,000 crore," Shah said. Equity market will be the major source of investments and the remaining will come from financial institutions, he said. The plan also includes setting up a greenfield cell manufacturing facility with an initial capacity of 2 GW with an option to increase it up to 5 GW. Cell is a key component of solar module.
