    Airtel Payments Bank Q2FY26 results: Net profit rises to 11.8 crore

    Airtel Payments Bank has posted a profit of Rs 11.8 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025, marginally higher than a year ago, and said its quarterly revenue breached the Rs 800 crore mark for the first time. The Q2FY26 revenue of Rs 804 crore, up 19.4 per cent year-on-year, "marks strong growth momentum", it said in a release. The bank's profit for the quarter rose to Rs 11.8 crore against Rs 11.2 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. "For the first time, the bank's quarterly revenue breached the Rs 800 crore," according to a release. The annualised Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) reached Rs 4,56,000 crore, reflecting the growing adoption of the Bank's Safe Second Account, merchant propositions, and other product offerings, the release said, pointing out that it remains the third-largest mobile bank in India by user base.     Mcap of 7 of top-10 firms erodes by 88,635 crore in weak market last week

    The combined market valuation of seven of the top-10 most valued firms eroded by Rs 88,635.28 crore in a holiday-shortened last week, with Bharti Airtel and Tata Consultancy Services taking the biggest hit, in line with the weak trend in equities. In a holiday-shortened last week, the BSE benchmark tanked 722.43 points or 0.86 per cent, and the Nifty declined by 229.8 points or 0.89 per cent. While Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), ICICI Bank, Infosys and Hindustan Unilever faced erosion from their valuation, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finance and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) were the gainers from the top-10 pack. The market valuation of Bharti Airtel tumbled Rs 30,506.26 crore to Rs 11,41,048.30 crore. TCS faced an erosion of Rs 23,680.38 crore from its valuation, which stood at Rs 10,82,658.42 crore.     Reliance Group says no impact on business operations due to attachment

    Anil Ambani's Reliance Group on Tuesday said there is no impact on business operations of the group's listed companies because of the ED's attachment of Rs 7,500 crore worth of properties, which is linked to a money-laundering probe. The majority of the assets attached by the Enforcement Directorate belong to Reliance Communications, which is under the control of the Resolution Professional (RP) and the committee of creditors (CoC), led by State Bank of India, the group's listed firms said in stock exchange filings. The federal probe agency issued four separate provisional orders under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on October 31 for attaching 42 properties, including the 66-year-old Ambani's family home in Pali Hill, Mumbai, apart from other residential and commercial properties of his group companies.
