Nifty futures has rolled around 72% vs 69% with respect to last month, and the open interest for the new May contract is also higher by around 31 lkh. Huge long rollover was seen in Nifty futures on the day of expiry vs previous four days. We expect more short covering in Nifty futures to happen once 10740 level is crossed. The range for Nifty might be at 10400-11000 and Banknifty at 24300-26500 for May series.

Nifty futures has rolled around 69% vs 62% with respect to last month, and the open interest for the new April contract is also lower by around 5 lkh. Market participants seem to have chosen Nifty option more than futures to trade long positions. The range for Nifty might be at 10000-10700 and Banknifty at 23800-25800 for April series.

Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd Q3FY18 results comment Operating Income rose by 2.53% to Rs. 2025.25 Cr in Q3FY18 when compared to the previous quarter. Also, it increased by 28.41% when compared with Q3FY17.

Nifty futures has rolled around 66% vs 73% with respect to last month, and the open interest for the new February contract is also higher by around 28 lkh implying fresh long positions at around 10950 levels. BankNifty futures rolled at around 71% vs 75% compared to last month. The open interest of BankNifty futures in this series is higher by around 10 lkh, due to fresh long positions seen in the last fortnight of January expiry.

Nifty futures has rolled around 63% vs 73% with respect to last month, and the open interest for the new December contract is also lower by around 50 lkh implying long unwinding at around 10400 levels. BankNifty futures rolled at around 56% vs 69% compared to last month. Even the open interest of BankNifty futures in this series is less by around 2.2 lkh, due to the long unwinding seen in the last three days of November expiry.
