Asian markets were trading mixed following losses on Wall Street and as investors assessed trade data out of Japan ahead of the rate decision by the Bank of Japan this week. Nikkei was trading lower by 0.20% while Hang Send and Shanghai were trading higher by 0.82% and 0.69% respectively.
