Equity Mutual Funds (including ELSS) reported a marginal rise in inflows in August 2019, bringing in Rs 9,152 cr over the month, as compared to an inflow of Rs 8,113 cr July 2019. Inflows through SIPs continued to hover over the Rs 8,000 cr mark, at Rs 8,231 cr in August 2019 versus Rs 8,113 cr in July. Aggressive Hybrid Funds and other equity-oriented hybrid schemes, had a inflow of 70.15 cr. As per SEBI data, Mutual Funds were net buyers of stocks. Mutual Funds bought Rs 17,407 cr worth of stocks in August 2019, versus a selling of Rs 15,083 cr in July 2019.
