We recently met R Chandrasekaran, Chief Financial Officer of IG Petrochemicals (IGPL) to get an insight into the dynamic changes of the phthalic anhydride (PAN) industry and the company's outlook, going forward. PAN is a downstream commodity chemical manufactured using orthoxylene, a crude derivative.
