Bahubali-2 may change the way sports is watched at homes

Hyderabad, 28 March: After the live streaming of multi-lingual film Bahubali-2's audio release function on the virtual reality (VR) technology platform in high resolution on Sunday, Radeon Technologies Group, a part of chip maker AMD, is set out to change the way people watch sports sitting at home.For someone who plays computer games using a VR headset, either the 360 degree view of a virtual world or the experience of being right in the middle of the action is not something new to look for. But what the Radeon Technologies is now attempting is to extend the VR technology to live-streaming of popular sports like cricket so that someone watching the match remotely can have a similar experience of a person sitting in the stadium."We are talking to people in the sports world on live streaming of matches on our VR platform. CBRE appoints Raka Khashu Razdan as marketing & communications head in India

NEW DELHI: Global real estate consultancy CBRE today announced appointment of Raka Khashu Razdan as Head of Marketing and Communications for its India market. In her new role, Raka will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated marketing and communications strategy to achieve business objectives. Her portfolio will include innovative brand-building initiatives with special focus on demand generation to accelerate revenue growth for the organisation, CBRE said in a statement. "Raka brings with her a wealth of experience and a proven track record in delivering success. Her appointment is in line with our strategy to further strengthen CBRE India's brand to enable business growth in the region," said Anshuman Magazine, Chairman and Managing Director of CBRE, South Asia Pvt Ltd. Raka has previously worked with several blue-chip corporates including Metlife and AMD and also had a prior stint with CBRE. She is also the visiting faculty for marketing at some of India's leading management institutes.
