Shiv Nadar gifts 47% of his stake in HCL, Vama Delhi to daughter Roshni

Billionaire Shiv Nadar, founder of HCL, has gifted 47 per cent of his stake in HCL Corp and Vama Delhi to his daughter Roshni Nadar Malhotra as part of a strategic succession plan. After the transfer, Malhotra will acquire control and become a majority shareholder of Vama Delhi and HCL Corp, HCLTech said in a stock exchange filing. HCL Infosystems Ltd also made a similar filing. By virtue of her stakes in Vama Delhi and HCL Corp, she will become the largest shareholder of HCL Infosystems Ltd and HCL Tech. She will also acquire control over the voting rights in relation to the 12.94 per cent stake held by Vama Delhi and 49.94 per cent held by HCL Corp in HCL Infosystems. In HCL Tech, she will acquire a 44.17 per cent stake held by Vama Delhi and a 0.17 per cent stake from HCL Corp. HCL Infosystems Q3 results: Losses down to Rs 5.25 cr, revenue rises 30.14%

HCL Infosystems has reported narrowing of losses to Rs 5.25 crore in the December quarter. The IT system integration and solutions company had posted losses of Rs 9.30 crore in the year-ago period, according to a company filing. Revenue from operations tanked 30.14 per cent to Rs 5.70 crore in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year, as against Rs 8.16 crore a year earlier. Sequentially, revenue declined 16 per cent. "During this quarter, the company continued to focus on actions and initiatives aimed at realising our long outstanding receivables and minimising operational losses," HCL Infosystems Manager Raj Sachdeva said. The business has continued to face challenges in obtaining timely customer acceptance and sign-offs for completed projects, leading to delays in receiving payments, a company statement said. HCL Infosystems posts consolidated loss at Rs 10 cr in Sept quarter

IT company HCL Infosystems on Tuesday posted a consolidated loss of Rs 10 crore in the second quarter ended September. The company had posted a consolidated profit of Rs 13 crore in the same period a year ago, it said in a regulatory filing. According to the auditor's note, HCL Infosystems group has accumulated losses and its net worth has been fully eroded as on September 30, 2022. The group's current liabilities exceeded its current assets by Rs 489.84 crore during the July-September period. HCL's revenue from operations more than halved to Rs 6.93 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 15.54 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year.
