Country Club Hospitality to raise $100 mn for premium property projects

Country Club Hospitality and Holidays Ltd (CCHHL) is planning to raise USD 100 million to set up premium leisure properties in the country, a top company official said. The funds will be raised either through GDR (global depository receipts) or FCCB (foreign currency convertible bonds), its Chairman and Managing Director Y Rajeev Reddy told PTI. Reddy said the funds would be used for setting up clubs and resorts at various locations across India. He said the company has turned debt-free by repaying Rs 600 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal. The Hyderabad-headquartered company operates and manages 30 properties on its own, while another 30 are managed through the franchise route. Besides clubs and resorts, CCHHL has forayed into real estate projects, both in the residential and commercial space. Reddy said such real estate projects would come up in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Multiple people shot at New Hampshire country club, 1 suspect in custody

A shooting at a country club left multiple gunshot victims, police in New Hampshire said Saturday night. Nashua police said video surveillance confirmed there was one shooter, and they are the person being detained by police. They said the scene is still an active investigation, but there is no further danger to the public. The shootings happened at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua. Information on the conditions of the victims was not immediately available. An aerial via of the scene from WMUR-TV showed multiple emergency responders heading to the scene. Closely monitoring situation, says Indian Hotels on malware incident

The country's biggest hospitality player Indian Hotels Company Limited has reported a malware incident, saying immediate action has been taken to contain the impact and secure its systems, maintaining that the Tata Group-owned firm is closely monitoring the situation while operating business as usual. Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) informed about the incident in a regulatory filing on Thursday. "We would like to inform the exchanges that the Company has detected a malware incident, affecting select IT systems and immediate action has been taken to contain the impact and secure the systems. The relevant authorities have been duly notified. The Company continues to monitor the situation closely while operating business as usual," Indian Hotels Company Limited stated in the filing.
